Itinerary
After reaching Ahmedabad by train you will be taken to your hotel. First and foremost finish up all the check informalities, get your room keys and settle down and relax in your respective rooms for a while. After finishing your lunch, you will be heading towards the Gandhiji ashram which is one of the most historically enriched sites in Ahmedabad.
Next, you will be visiting the Hathisingh temple followed by the Kankaria lake where you can enjoy the adjoining scenic beauty while boating. You can indulge in shopping from the adjacent places since the plan is to stay overnight there you get plenty of time.
After finishing your breakfast, you will be heading towards Dwarka from Ahmedabad. On your way to Dwarka, you will be taken to Jamnagar as well. The famous Lakhota Museum and the Lakhota lake will not be missed. You get enough time to soak in all the scenic beauty of the historically enriched palace which is also the museum surrounded by the mesmerizing Lakhota lake.
Your next destination will be the famous Bala Hanuman Temple where you can experience the non-stop ram dhun which is going on from 1956 and hence the temple earned a place in the Guinness book of world records as well. On reaching Dwarka, you will be taken to the Dwarkadhish Temple for the evening aarti. You will be staying overnight that day in Dwarka.
Today the whole day will be set for sightseeing in Dwarka. You will start your day by visiting the Bet Dwarka, Rukmani temple followed by the Gomati ghat where you can take a dip in the holy water of the river. End your sightseeing with the Nageshwar temple which is considered one among the 12 Jyotirlingas; this place is a delight for every history maniac out there. End your activity by visiting the holy evening aarti at the Dwarkadhish temple and staying overnight.
Finishing breakfast you will be heading towards Porbandar today, and on your way, you will be visiting numerous religiously significant sites like the Kirti Mandir which is Gandhi's birthplace along with Sudama temple which is the only one existing in the world.
Followed by proceeding towards Somnath where you will be visiting the Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir, Chowpati after checking into the hotel. You will end your day by visiting the light and sound show at the Somnath Temple after the evening aarti and staying overnight at Somnath.
Finishing breakfast you will be heading to Diu. The place is full of beautiful beaches and scenic beauty. You will first see the Diu fort along with the St. Paul Church. Next, you will be heading towards the Diu Museum. Ultimately you will be heading towards the Nagoa beach where you will see the Seashell museum, Naida caves, Gangeshwar temple and in the end the beautiful sunset point at the Chakratirth beach. You can go shopping since you will be staying overnight at Diu.
After finishing your breakfast in Diu, you will be taken to Sasan Gir where you will be having your lunch followed by going for the jungle safari in Gir National park. You will be doing the safari at your own cost for INR 3,200 per head. You will be entering the jungle in an open jeep if fortune favours you will be seeing a lot of Asiatic lions, the Rann or the Indian wild ass as well. You will see some exotic species of birds and trees as well.
Finishing breakfast you will be proceeding towards Ahmedabad today. On reaching Ahmedabad, you will be visiting the Modhera sun temple and Rani ki Vav. followed by proceeding to visit Adalaj Step Well as well as the Akshardham temple to experience some beautiful monumental designs engraved with innumerable historic stories and watch the light and sound show there. You can finish your last time shopping since the plan is to stay overnight in Ahmedabad.
