Uttar Pradesh – the heart of India has some of the eminent and distinguished religious places that attract a lot of tourists from around the world. Varanasi is well known for its Ghats present on the banks of river Ganga and one of them is Dashashwamedha Ghat which is known as main Ghat in Varanasi. There are about 84 Ghats in Varanasi where every evening all large scale aarti takes place which is one of the major attractions in Varanasi. The aarti takes place for 45 minutes. This city is also known for its funeral rites which are performed in one of these Ghats.
Rama Janma Bhoomi
Ram Janmabhoomi is known to be the birthplace of Lord Rama and that is the reason this site is known as Ram Janmabhoomi. In the ancient history of Ramayana the location of ram’s birth place is known to be on the banks of Sarayu river in the city of Ayodhya. This place has a lot of political, historical and social images debated over it. But it is the major attraction in Ayodhya.
Bara Imambara
Bara Imambara is also known as Asfi mosque located in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow. It has a beautiful step well with running water. The architecture of this mosque reflects Mughal designs. The reason this is more famous is because there are two bodies of sponsors and the architect in the mosque. Food in Lucknow is so delish that people usually make a quick round trip to have food in Lucknow.
